>> Acoustic Parsha on NHK’s Yume·Ongaku Kan

I know it’s been a while since I last posted an update to the site and I’ll try to get back in an updating groove with today’s entry. Acoustic Parsha will be on NHK’s 30m music show “Yume·Ongaku Kan” (Dream Music Theatre) on 16 December (Japan) and on 20 December (a Monday at 3:30p HST) here in the U.S. for digital cable subscribers of TV Japan. What sets this show apart from the other Japanese music shows is that the artists appearing on it (usually two and in this episode Acoustic Parsha will be performing with J-Rock singer YAIDA “Yaiko” Hitomi) will do a cover song and perform each others’ song(s).

>> Problem Solved
Okay, the positioning should work fine for those of you who use IE 6.x. Still, it looks a billion times better with Firefox if you use the Windows OS. ;)

>> One IE down, one to go
Thanks a million to Mr. Zeldman for his post on the whitespace bug found in IE. The positioning of the site now looks okay on IE/Mac 5.x and I’ll test it on a Windows XP machine tomorrow.

>> Site Dilemma
I’ve tested the site on a Windows XP machine and it renders the best with Mozilla 1.x, Firefox 0.8 (I highly recommend this web browser for Windows OS users), and K-Meleon 0.8. It’s not bad with Opera 7.x, but it blows on the buggy CSS web browser known as Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 6.x. I’ve also tested the site with Mac OS X and it works well with every web browser except for iCab 2.x and of course, Internet Explorer 5.x. I’ll continue with the tweaking and hopefully have everything working comfortably for IE users one of these days.

>> Site Redesign in the Works
Please don’t mind the ongoing construction here and also note that not everything is in working order. I hope to have the redesign done in a week or two then I’ll announce the fan blog renewal!
