Note: This is a COPY CONTROL CD (CCCD) that uses Sony’s Label Gate technology. Mac users (like me) can’t put this technology to work since the Mac OS is not currently supported by Sony. Windows users can insert the CD in their PC and access Sony’s Label Gate network which enables the purchaser of the disc to download a license. After downloading a license, the buyer of the disc will be able to playback the song as a MAGIQLIP (it has the same quality as an MD’s LP2 recording) using Apple’s QuickTime technology (go figure).

CCCD is ignored by iTunes 4.0 (1.06),
though not by iTunes 4.0 (1.17). With
the earlier version(s) you can copy
the track. With the later version you
get about the first second of the track.
