>> SPEED’s Be My Love

The members of SPEED are back together again for another charity event — yet this time they have an official website open as well as a brand-spankin’ new single called “Be My Love”.

The single was released on August 27th from the Avex record label and is coupled with the song “Shuka”. “Be My Love” is the image song for the charity project the group is involved with called Save the Children. When at the group’s new website, the 30 second PV clips for the song are worth checking out.

thanks for all the information provided,i'm afraid that speed won't last for long...what is the estimation time that they will be together???

Posted by: yk at February 3, 2004 02:24 AM

yk: I think it's very likely that they'll go their separate ways but I can't say how soon that'll happen.

Posted by: RY at February 2, 2004 09:17 PM

thanks...i've seen information from some website that speed is only regroupin for a short while,is it true???

Posted by: yk at February 2, 2004 04:52 AM

yk: The only option I can think of is to order it online from YesAsia.com, CD Japan, Tower Records Japan, or Amazon Japan.

Posted by: long at January 20, 2004 03:16 AM

SPEED's back together again so I don't think you'll be seeing much solo work from the members. And sadly, hiro's latest album is 2002's "Naked and True".

What's up? I'm a big fan of hiro. Is she working on a new album? Is "Naked" her latest album?

hi .....

Hi Lyn, I don't offer mp3 d/l on this site. You may want to try whatever is available through p2p systems or do what I do -- buy the CD. Besides, SPEED is now on Avex which uses copy-protection on their discs so chances of finding a copy in an mp3 format may be quite slim. Of course, this is coming from a person who hasn't even tried looking for a free copy. Tege.

Hello..any of u has the mp3 for this song? i really want it..

Posted by: Lyn at October 10, 2003 01:40 AM

Hi DokiDoki. I'm not aware of any new officially produced SPEED wallpaper (although there are a bunch of unofficial ones) but if I find any, I'll let you know (and post it to this site). Thanks for the comment. :)

Okay thanks a million! I'm trying to explore new genres and singers in both j and o-pop... i'm starting on rinken band but still addicted to ken hirai and rimi and begin... Looking forward to your email =)

Posted by: Glenn at September 19, 2003 07:16 PM

Hi Glenn, sorry for the delay. I'll email you their concert schedule soon. As for the festival, are you thinking about the Orion Beer Festival? Maybe one of the pop blog's other readers can help out on this one.

Posted by: Richie at September 18, 2003 01:50 AM

Hmmm like i said i have the chance... nothing confirmed haha =P Would really like to see rimi natsukawa or begin or any other singer/group from okinawa/japan at concert... but i think rimi isn't holding any in december. Argh!!! Do you know the schedule?
And btw what's that festival in okinawa called where they invite all their singers to celebrate shima uta?
That's all from me! More studying to go!

Posted by: Glenn at September 12, 2003 11:40 PM

Hi Glenn! Wow, you may have a chance to go to Okinawa? Great! I've always wanted to go to Hokkaido too. Geez, talk about heading to the two extremes of Japan! Anyways, take care. :)

Posted by: Richie at September 6, 2003 07:15 PM

Yo! Remember me? I'm entering into my preliminary grade 10 exams, and may be going over to hokkaido and okinawa at year end. Wonder if there're any concerts upcoming? Thanks for updates!
